A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Author's Note: Despite my best efforts, this game may not get finished in time for, well...ever. I apologize if the lack of an ending is disconcerting, but if it helps at all, the main character and her allies win and survive in the most legitimate ending, and though at great cost, all of the game's antagonists are defeated. Things will work out in the end, and I plan to tell you about them if I ever get there.

Safety Note: Version 1.1.10 Pre-Alpha EX2 of the game includes an updated disclaimer and some safety information for streamers and Let's Play channels recording footage of the game. If you're planning to stream or do an LP for EL9FG, please make sure that you're playing the latest version of the game.

For both symbolic and technical reasons, this game will not be listed as discontinued. The story may be unrealized, but it doesn't end here. I hope I have the energy to return to tell it one day.

Inspired by Lucid9 by Fallen Snow Studios, this fanwork explores the perspective of an unlikely survivor in an even more unlikely future. While she reunites with old acquaintances and uncovers the truth about her harrowing past, your decisions will shape the alliances of Rui Hayata and the Way Forward Corporation.

Whether you choose salvation or destruction, the future of the world-power of Isamu lies within your grasp. Be warned, however, as many will choose to move against you...

Thank you for creating this good game spartancupcake!

:)

Thanks a bunch for taking a look at the game! I'm glad you liked it ^w^

Wardrobe or character customization?

(1 edit)

I plan to eventually implement some equipment customization for some of the turn-based RPG-style combat sections, and I can definitely keep cosmetics in mind for when development reaches a later stage ^w^

I sort most of my games by character customization because I like adding cute or exposed clothing because you can't be as open with underwear in most Normal games

I loved Lucid 9 and have been wanting a sequel for a long time. It's great to see that someone created a fan game based on it.

Thanks! ^w^ I really liked Lucid9 as well, and I wanted to create some content for myself and the game's community since the sequel's still in development.

If you're interested in checking out some more fan-made content for the L9 multiverse, a friend of mine actually made another one on this site by the name of Rui's Afterstory a couple of years back: https://lucid9superfan.itch.io/ruis-afterstory
