Progress Update #11 (July 4th 2022)


Heyo and salutations, everyone ^w^

This update is going to be a bit short as it's currently the wee hours of the morning in my timezone and very little progress has actually been made in the past four days o_o

I didn't want development to slow down for Chapter 7's upcoming release, so I decided to cut some content from the confrontation scene so I could move on to the subsequent combat sequence.  In spite of this, there are still multiple unique ways you can have Rui approach the situation, most of which are pictured below and have lasting consequences, at least when compared to the other, simpler dialog branches in the game so far.

Once this devlog is live, I plan to begin work on the aformentioned battle sequence, which will introduce Hisao, team takedowns, and an RNG-based threat mechanic to determine who gets attacked by the current enemy(or enemies).
