Mini-Progress Update: Difficulty Overhaul

I'm currently continuing development on Chapter 12, and I've implemented three out of the four planned battles for Mission: Concentrated Resistance. All that's left is the encounter with the boss, the boss fight itself, a key decision scene that will place the player on the side of DCIS or the ILF, and a planned debrief from the Cell Commander which includes a message from the ILF, based on their actions in the previous scene.

In the meantime, I've made the difficulty of the game a little more important in combat. Beyond a certain point in the game, the difficulty you choose will affect the offensive and defensive stats of some enemies, and you can change it at any time if you'd rather focus on the story or want combat to last longer. The only exception to this is Lucid difficulty, which, if you select it at the beginning of the game, will not permit you to change the difficulty of the game without restarting it, since some achievements are tied directly to that difficulty. You can, however, reload a prior save if you change the difficulty by mistake.

The five difficulties are listed in ascending order and are Civilian, Recruit, Operative, Veteran, and Lucid. There's also a sixth difficulty, but I'll let you figure out where it is and what it does. > : 3
